Iraq’s Bloody Lake
This blood-red lake outside Iraq’s Sadr City garnered a fair share of macabre speculation when it was noticed in 2007. No one has offered an official explanation, but it’s more likely that the color comes from sewage, pollution or a water-treatment process.

All the pictures you share are very interesting. I like all of them. Photo of palm island is really very effective and cool. Google earth is most use function provided by google and there no any special OS recruitment to use them. But with Windows 7 and vista you can access all its different features.
nice post. thanks.
OH! Brilliant.. i like your post. thanks
Interesting, weird, brilliant…kind of a mix bag of thoughts about this one, but I liked it.
Good Post!
Awsome loved the heart shaped island and i <3 u
notice how the paleolithic horse and the indian head in alberta are orientated north, not just some random direction? think about it.
FYI: Google Earth pictures of New York and other major cities are sometimes gathered by low flying aircraft, rather than satellite. This produces the larger angles leading to the ‘Escher Effect’.
Some cool Gmaps here. Always a surprise if you look hard enough.
Who owns that guitar shaped mansion?
Pure awesomeness!
Waldo was Photoshopped. Look at his hand over the vent. If it was really painted on, you’d still see the vent. Other pics are really cool. I’d like to see the co-ordinates so I could zoom in closer.
Notice the description say Waldo was “built”, not “painted”. Also check out the post the image is linked to. I doubt it’s fake.
is it graphics??????????????
very great pics!
they’re all pretty cool ^^ but couldn’t some of them maybe, possibly, be fakes? Not all of them are, obviously.
great pictures Iraq’s Bloody Lake kind gives me the creeps I wonder what causes that.
I would say wonderful!!
I love the proposal. I wonder if it worked? How cool would that be!
Love these, I live in England and there are plenty of the Chalk type figures on hillsides, one quite graphic one if I can remember rightly.
I had fun trying to get pictures of Islandnet.com’s offices in Goldstream, Langford, Vancouver Island to appear on Google but I did it!
