Can you link us some of your photographic work? Since you sound like you have such a wealth of knowledge on the subject. Not to be rude but if what you’re saying is achievable especially with under and over exposed shots, I’d be happy to listen. I agree on some aspects, that it does take away some of the realism in photos but sometimes it adds another perspective on an already stunning shot.

I’ve decided I don’t like HDR… it makes everything look so fake… like stills from a video game. I think the only that appeals is ‘Sunset at the mount’.
Personal opinion: HDR is used far too liberally… and in doing actually ruins the natural beauty of the shot.
